To Native English Speakers
At our kindergarten, we value building warm and meaningful relationships between children and adults.
Through everyday life and natural interactions, children gradually open their hearts to language and culture.
We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children and can interact with them in daily life using English.
Playing together, chatting, reading picture books, singing songs...
The role involves gently supporting the children as an assistant to the classroom teacher.
No special qualifications are required, and you do not need to speak Japanese.
What matters most is that you love children, have a kind heart, and are willing to become part of our warm and supportive team.
🌿Part-time positions are welcome.
We especially welcome spouses of expatriates living in Japan.

  A child's smile, a tight hug, or a moment of discovery together can be immensely satisfying. Seeing kids gain self-confidence and independence while they learn and interact with others in the nursery setting is very gratifying.
  Overall, I think the most rewarding thing about this job is witnessing the growth of the children and being able to build meaningful relationships with them and their families.

  Working in a positive and collaborative atmosphere is truly ideal. I appreciate how accepting and supportive everyone is, which makes for a very productive and enjoyable work environment. It’s challenging to teach English to little kids, but I constantly feel very supported and everyone is always available to offer guidance and encouragement. This helps me feel confident in my work. More importantly, it’s very inspiring to be part of the team that strongly upholds values and serves the best interests of the children.
- こどもとの関わりで一番楽しいのはどんなとき
  
  I have the most fun interacting with kids when we have our daily conversations. I always enjoy singing songs, reading books and teaching them English but the random conversations we have on a daily basis show the most honest, purest version of themselves, and that is something I truly treasure.
- 好きな行事はなんですか？
  
  My favorite event is the “seikatsu happyoukai”, which is the presentation the kids have at the end of the school year. It is very rewarding to see how the kids work hard during the practices and give their best during the performance. I am also very inspired by how the teachers work together to support the kids through the process. I think it is the culmination of their growth and development, signifying the completion of the meaningful journey they had that school year.
- この園での一番の思い出は？
  
  I am still on my 2nd year with Sakura Kids Garden so I have yet to collect wonderful memories with the kids. If I had to choose the best one, I would definitely say the “Old McDonald” themed “Oatsumari” I had with Hiyoko, Risu and Sumire classes last school year. It was the moment I felt like I was able to made an impact to the kids in terms of teaching English. It was indeed a fulfilling moment for me!

  たくさん泣いてわがままを言い、全てをさらけ出す子どもたちが、先生を受け入れ信頼してくれるようになったとき、やりがいと楽しさを感じます。

  自信が持てなかったり悩んだりうまくいかない時に、園長先生や先生方が励ましてくれたことは忘れることのない思い出です。

  全員が常に子どもファーストで保育しているため、沢山の行事や活動、経験を通して、子どもたちが自信に満ちあふれている。また、保育者と保護者とコミュニケーションをとる時間が毎日あるため、信頼関係を築けるところ。

  一緒にお話をする時。子どもらしい純粋な質問や、自分では気づかないことに子どもとの会話を通して気付かされる。

  キッズすみれ組の卒園式。赤ちゃんだった子どもたちが立派に3歳になり幼稚園期待を持って上がる姿に嬉しさを感じる。また、保護者からの素敵な替え歌や冊子のサプライズ嬉しかった。
